Founded in 1975, DST Controls is a multidiscipline engineering and manufacturing company that designs and builds control and data acquisition systems, including our world-class line of solar array monitoring devices and combiner boxes.
Our products and systems are designed and manufactured at our modern headquarters facility in Benicia, California (San Francisco Bay area). We routinely ship internationally and have served customers on five continents since the mid 1990’s.
“Upstairs” at DST, our engineering and design group includes electrical, mechanical, chemical, CAD, and control engineers as well as a field-service staff of highly competent and experience-hardened engineering technicians.
“Downstairs,” our manufacturing area is clean, orderly, and populated with our well-trained, quality-oriented, fabricators and assemblers. DST’s manufacturing professionals use state-of-the-art Practices, Processes, and Tools to insure that our products and systems are delivered on time, install easily, perform flawlessly, and last for years and years regardless of environment.
We are fully trained on compliance for all major product-safety certifications, e.g., UL, CE, and CSA and we will design and build to these standards as required.
In 2005, we obtained our ISO 9001/2000 Quality System certification and remain are registered to the ISO 9001/2008 standard today.
